LOW: It was super hot outside :(
Yesterday we packed up early and headed to the zoo!
The kids had a blast. Claire has always loved the zoo and this was the first year that Oliver was super into it.
Claire always loves seeing the animals but this year she was really into all the information that she could learn at the zoo. She loved playing all the games and learning new things about all the animals.
After we had a nice lunch the kids played on the playground for a little while. Claire really wanted to take Oliver on the play structure so that he could go down the slide by himself.
Claire helped him the whole way.
It was so sweet to see them work together.
The Gorillas are always my favorite and yesterday they were all out and very playful. One of the gorillas came up and slapped the window right where Claire was standing, she jumped about a mile in the air. It was awesome. Oliver kept making Mark take him from one window to the other so that he could see better. He kept yelling "ODUR WINDOW!!! ODUR WINDOW NOW!!!"
The rainforest is always a huge hit with us. Yesterday it was actually cooler in the rainforest than it was outside!
And we ended our Zoo trip with our usual train ride. Oliver loved the train ride! He just kept singing "All aboard the choo choo train! All aboard the choo choo train!" It was so sweet!
