Dance Recital

Today was the kids’ dance recital! They did such an amazing job!!!
This year Claire was able to help out with her own make up. I cannot even believe that she can do this herself!
My grown up angel! Thank God for Aunt Jacqie and her help with the quick changes! Right after She got Claire all dressed Claire gave her a huge hug and my heart almost exploded. I don’t even mind that she she didn’t want anything to do with me 😂 We all know Aunt Jacqie is way better at this than I am!
I cry every time I see my kids on stage!
Oliver’s hip hop dance was so great this year!!!
Claire’s jazz costume was my favorite!!! And the dance was amazing!
Oliver did an amazing job on his hip hop dance "Where’s Waldo!!!"
I didn’t get a picture of them in their Daddy and Me costume but this is close enough!
Claire and Alec get paired up a lot in their dances and I love seeing them dance together!!!
❤️❤️❤️
I love these two faces!
Thank you everyone for giving up their day to come and see my babies dance!!
Even though it is a crazy day I must say, I LOVE watching my babies up there on stage!!! They work so hard all year and I love seeing them perform!!!

Player Of The Game

Oliver has been playing in a hockey league at the Harbor Center and he loves it! The kids are a bit older and have some more experience but I cannot believe how Oliver is slowly catching up! He loves to play hockey and it shows when he is on the ice. On Friday he won “Player Of The Game” and I could not be any more proud of my little hockey star! Plus, his buddy Sam got the assist!!! It was perfect!

Art Show

Tonight we had the kids’ annual art show.

Oliver had an adorable polar bear in the show

Claire had dancing so she couldn’t go tonight but we loved seeing her sculpture!!!

I just love going to the art show and seeing all of the kids’ artwork! The kids’ school does such a great job when it comes to the arts! I love it!!! And so do the kids!!!

Mother’s Day

I had an amazing Mother's Day this year!
Last year we started splitting up Mother's day into a whole weekend so that no one had to rush around at all and we all got to spend quality time together.  And in doing it this way, each Momma gets their own Momma time!  On Friday we went to Texas DeBrazil (aka the Meat Factory) and celebrated my mother!!
Yesterday was all about me!  I got beautiful cards from Claire and Oliver and had a delicious dinner at the Poppyseed!
And then we wrapped the weekend up with a wonderful Sunday spent with my mother in law!
This was the only picture that I got but my Mother in law is still in there!
I also thought that this post would be a great time to give an update on the kids!
Claire is growing into such a young lady!  She still LOVES to read and loves music!  She can usually be found reading, listening to music, or watching YouTube.  She still continues to help me with EVERYTHING around the house and never complains.  As she gets older she is finding her personality and it definitely has some silliness to it (I knew it was in there!  It was only a matter of time!).  Claire steers clear of drama (thank God) and works hard at everything she does! She is doing so well in school!!!  I am so proud of the young woman that she is.  She starts middle school in the fall and as much as I hate that she is growing up so quickly, I LOVE the person she is becoming and I am very excited for her because she is so very ready!
This guy is growing up into such a little man. He is obsessed with anything hockey or football.  He is currently playing hockey and lacrosse and LOVING every minute of it!  He loves to read and can always be found either reading, looking at this hockey/football cards, or playing some of sport while cheering for himself!
Oliver carries his binder of hockey/football cards around so much that his bus driver (Ms. Kay) made him this fancy case to carry his binder around!  Oliver is the most thoughtful and caring little boy that I know.  He was the one who remembered how much I love the Poppyseed and said that we need to go to dinner there for Mother's day.  He is always thinking of others and I love that about him.  He can be out there on the hockey and lacrosse field "destroying" kids and then he runs over and tells me he loves me before getting back out there.

I am so grateful and blessed on this mother's day to not only have a wonderful mother and an amazing mother in law but to have two of the greatest kids in the universe.  I thank God everyday for my family and I couldn't be happier with my life right now.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
