Zoo Day

Today we were blessed with another beautiful February day. So we headed to the zoo (us and every other person in western New York). I didn't get too many pictures but we had a great time with our buddies. The zoo is one of my most favorite places in the world and even when it is crazy crowded I still love it!

Ice Skating

Last night I came home from a nice dinner to find everyone having a slumber party in the living room!
Mark and Oliver were all snuggled up on the couch.
And Claire was sound asleep on the floor.  So I grabbed my pillow and blanket and hopped on the love seat.  It wasn't the most comfortable spot but it was fun to all  have a sleepover in the living room!
Oliver has been obsessed with hockey lately.  This is his stick, puck, and "goalie mitt" that he uses to play hockey in the living room for hours every day!
Oliver is so obsessed with hockey that he has been asking Mark if he can play.  So before we signed him up for anything we decided to take him skating and see how it went.
We had a great time!  Oliver struggled a bit at first but he would not give up and would not stop skating!
Claire ended up with a blister so her and I walked around enjoyed the warm weather while the boys kept skating.
We really had fun and the weather was so perfect!
And what would a trip to Canalside be without a visit to Shark Girl?!

After ice skating we stopped at the grocery and bought some fun stuff to make for dinner.  It was another excellent day of vacation.  I am so lucky that I have a job that gives me the same time off as my kids!

Ski Day

This year the weather has not been all that great for skiing but we have still enjoyed the season the best that we could.  Today we spent our morning at the ski club to suck up what could be the last of the skiing for the season.
I am so glad that Mark talked me into joining the ski club.  We have so much fun and it is so nice to have something to do as a family.  I can't believe how much the kids and I  have learned in the last two winters!
Today we enjoyed a nice quiet sub lunch before hitting the slopes.
Usually there are kids all over the place and our kids have a blast skiing and playing games with their buddies.  But, today it was just us!
Amy came out and skied with us!  She even witnessed my big "jump" today!
And I had fun skiing with this guy.  Even though sometimes he pushes me too hard, he is always so supportive of my skiing!  Plus he always packs up all of our junk and makes the lunches!
Love these two!
My favorite time is riding the chair lift with the kids.  It is so beautiful at the ski club and it gives us so much time just relax and chat.

Overall, it was a great ski season even if the weather was sucky.  We have so many fun friends and so many great memories as a family!  Hopefully we will get one last huge snow storm and have a bit more skiing!

Waterpark

We spent our fourth year at Palm Island water park this year and we had a blast!
We went a little later than usual this year but that was ok because we got to celebrate Grandma and Grandpa's birthday!
The kids had so much fun!  They loved having their own table for lunch and hanging out "on their own" this year.
These three were such big shots this year.  It was so fun to watch them do their own thing but kinda sad too.  Sometimes I really miss my babies being babies but, it was really nice to talk and catch up with the grown ups!
Kayden had a blast and was wiped out by Sunday afternoon!
Claire actually won the big 100 tickets this year at the arcade!!!
And Camden had a blast just walking all over the place taking it all in!

Thank you for another fun and memorable year Grandma and Grandpa!!!

Two Peas...

These two are two peas in a pod. I swear they are pretty much the same person. Claire is so smart and self motivated, just like her Daddy. They are two really amazing people and I love them to pieces.

Happy Birthday Uncle Greg

Yesterday we started our Saturday the usual way, skiing!  After the kids and I did our lessons we headed into the lodge to visit with friends and have lunch.
The kids had fun playing some game with their friends!
We left skiing early to celebrate Uncle Greg's birthday but before we left Claire finally got her JoJo Bow in the mail!  She has been asking for one for months and I was finally able to get my hands on one!  It is super adorable and my girl was happy as can be.  She is always helping me around the house and she works so hard in school that I felt like she deserved a little something special for being so awesome.
To top the night off we had a delicious dinner at my Mom and Dad's to celebrate Uncle Greg's birthday!
Just another great day in our crazy life!

100th Day

Today Oliver celebrated his 100th day of school! His assignment was to dress up like he was 100 years old. And I must say, I think we nailed it!!!
Tonight was also my school's Father Daughter Dance. My father and I enjoyed a great night seeing all of my girls all dressed up. And then we enjoyed a delicious dinner.

Mondays

Sometimes on Mondays Mark's parents have us over for dinner in between the kids' dance classes. It is a HUGE help on Mondays and the kids love it too. Oliver loves to make Grandma play crazy games! He also loves to read her all of his books from school!
