Jellystone!!

We got home from Jellystone on Tuesday but I took sooo many pictures that it has taken me this long to go through them all!  I decided to do my Jellystone posts in a few segments, just because there is soo much to write!  So here is part one of the best camping trip ever!!
We got to Jellystone on Friday around 3ish.  We got everything unpacked and headed right to the water before dinner.  We all took turns making dinners for everyone so it was so nice to not have to stress about dinner everyday.  Oliver loved the water but the spray park was a little much for him on the first day.  There was a lot of water spraying everywhere and a huge bucket of water that would dump on the park, this was a little much for Oliver on day one.  He preferred to sit in the shallow end and play.
Claire was so excited to be in Jellystone but the icing on the cake was that a bunch of her friends were there.  She loved playing with the big kids.  And the Beehler kids are so good with Claire and Oliver, they loved taking them swimming and showing them around.
Jenn made our first dinner and it was delicious!  Oliver was in heaven sitting on the back of Uncle Nick's truck to eat with his buddy.  Oliver could not get enough of Nick on this trip.  He just thinks Nick is the coolest guy ever!
We decided to get the kids to bed early so that they would be in a good mood for our first full day at Jellystone.  Once they were in bed the grown ups got to hang out and eat some marshmallows.
There was much debate over the perfect marshmallow.  But in the end we all agreed that this was pretty much the best.
The next morning the kids got up and enjoyed a delicious breakfast while watching Little Einsteins. Yes, our cabins had TV's and DVD players and air conditioning, this is how the Komosinskis camp :)
After a good breakfast, we lathered up on our sunscreen and packed up some toys and headed back to the spray park.
The girls had a blast being crazy.
And Oliver had fun feeding Uncle Nick some pretzels :)
Oliver did a little bit better with the spray park but he still preferred to sit in the shallow end and play with his water toys.  He did go down the slide with Daddy a few times too.
The girls loved going in and out of the water.  And in and out and in and out.  It rained for a little while so we all ran back to our cabins (which were right by the water park) and hung out there until the rained stopped.  We were lucky because it only rained for about 30 minutes and then we were back to the park and the sun was shining!
After some time at the spray park it was nap time for all and then we headed to the beach! Oliver loved using his dump trucks to dump real sand.
Jessica was a trooper being 7 months pregnant.
After playing in the sand for a while the Komosinskis headed over to the row boats.
We had a great time rowing around the pond.
Claire even helped me row while Oliver just enjoyed the ride.
Mark and I got that baby up to top speed :)
After our time at the beach it was Maria's turn to make dinner and it was amazing! Right before dinner Nana and Papa stopped in to hang out with us for a while.
We all enjoyed a nice dinner and nice conversations.
Saturday was Caribbean night!  While we waited for the band to get going the kids had a blast playing with Ruby.
She was so sweet and so good with all the kids.  Playing with Ruby made us miss Pete a little bit, but she made us feel better with this gorgeous face.
Jenn brought all the kids leis. Oliver loved his "necklace".
The kids had a blast listening to the music and dancing.
Oliver loved hanging with Nana.
Claire didn't want to go on stage and dance so Oliver and Giada went alone.
Then Bella joined them and they rocked it up.
Then Bella and the other kids left the stage and Oliver and Giada looked very confused.
I am so glad that Nana and Papa were able to join us for Caribbean night.
Aunt Jessica spoiled Claire with a slushy Caribbean drink and Claire thought it was the coolest thing ever.
Then it was time for some smores.
Layne had a blast at Caribbean night!
Frankie had a blast eating his marshmallows.
Awesome.

So our first full day was awesome.  Claire smiled all day long and Oliver thought every single thing that we did was amazing!!  Stay tuned for day three!!!
