The Easter Bunny

Today we went to see the Easter bunny.  We tried to find someplace creative and fun to go but ended up just going to the good old mall.  Usually, we take our own pictures but now there are signs up EVERYWHERE that you cannot take your own photos.  So, of course we tried but ended up just getting a few wallets from them (because they are sooooo ridiculously expensive).  Then, of course the picture came out adorable!
Claire and Oliver with the Easter Bunny.
The mall was a zoo and we had to wait in line for about 30  minutes.  I was worried that the kids were going to get antsy but they just hung out and were so good.
Claire was so patient waiting for her turn!
Claire is an old pro with the Easter Bunny but since this was Oliver's first time I was a little worried that he would get freaked out.  Well,  he LOVED him!  He just kept laughing at him like "Oh my God!! You are a ginormous stuffed animal!!!!"
When our turn was over Oliver didn't want to get off the Easter Bunny's lap!

Afterwards we went to Red Robin to eat.
My boys deciding what they want to eat.
Mark and Oliver had a blast!  Oliver was super silly and had sooo much fun!
I love these guys!
When we got home Claire saw this guy in the backyard.  She really thought it was the ACTUAL Easter Bunny!!!  She made Mark go get the camera to take his picture!!

Oliver's Christening

Last Saturday was Oliver's Christening (I know a little late) and it was wonderful.  Oliver looked so handsome in his gown that has been passed down in our family for about 100 years.
Oliver was a perfect angel the whole time (as always).  Even though he did throw up a second before we put on the family gown :)
My handsome boys.
Greg and Sue were the perfect Godparents.
We were all so proud.
And of course we all got a little silly.
I think this is my favorite picture of the day.  I am not sure what ANY of us are doing here!!
My perfect family.
The whole gang.
Oliver and his Godparents.
 Oliver and his Godfather.
A special thanks to Father Gallagher.
Couldn't forget these two!
Claire and her girls.
The whole gang.
Except Frankie and Oliver.
Claire and Owen.  When we got home, Claire told Owen, "I love your fake tie!"
MMMM the cake!
Owen had a blast at the party!  He LOVED the food!  He hung out in his high chair for about an hour just eating away!
I think even the grown ups had fun.

Family Night

Last Saturday we had a great family night!  Mark got us tickets to the Bandits game and we had a blast!  We weren't really sure if it was kid friendly but it was perfect.
We started with a "fancy" dinner at Pearl Street.  Claire was thrilled to be at a "fancy" restaurant.  Everyone was watching the Sabres game and yelling and cheering and Claire thought that was just awesome.
Uncle Johnny was working so he stopped on his break to visit with us. This made Claire's night even better!!!  She was thrilled to see her buddy!  Oliver was an angel the whole time at dinner.  He just sat in his carseat and took it all in.  He loves anyplace that is noisy and loud.
Then it was game time.  We got a to have a special ride in Uncle Johnny's police car.  You can only imagine how proud Claire was about that.
Uncle Johnny even came in and walked us up to our seats.  Claire was so proud to walk with him and hold his hand.
We were up a little high but Claire still had a blast.  She loved all the loud music and of course the snacks!  She kept dancing in her seat and singing!  She thought is was super awesome when we would score and everyone would yell and jump out of their seats.  She kept saying, "It's ok to yell in here Mama because it is a game and we can do that even if we are inside ok."
Oliver loved all the noise and busyness.  I thought he might get a little freaked out but he was just fine.  He sat on Mark's lap the whole time and just looked around.  He was lovin' the waters at the game!
Needless to say both of the kids passed out after about 3 second in the car.  Of course Claire woke up as soon as I was going to take her picture.  But I did get a sleeping shot of Oliver.  Look at that face.  I could just eat him up!!!!
