NYC Day #4

Day 4 was my day.  The day I have been waiting for since the summer of 2020 when I fell in love with Hamilton. Day 4 was the day that I WAS GOING TO SEE HAMILTON ON BROADWAY!!!!!!!!! But since that was not until the evening and the weather was gorgeous we decided to start our day in Central Park!
Mark talked us all into the Merry Go Round just like the old days.  I will say that it made me so sad that my kids were so grown up but I love that they still wanted to do it with me!

Central Park was so beautiful and the weather was perfect!

Mark kept telling me that he had a surprise for me.  Finally he brought me to this.  It was an Alice In Wonderland statue.  This was my friend Tammy's favorite.  While we walked up there was a cellist playing in the park and the sun was shining right on it, it was perfect.  Everything about it was perfect and made me feel close to my friend that I miss so much.  Well done Mark...well done.

So excited!

After a day in the park, we headed home and got ready for the big night!  We finally made it to Haru Sushi and it did not disappoint!
I absolutely love our family trips. I love when it is just team Komo. We really have so much fun!!!
I love these two turkeys!
The food was outstanding!!!!!
Then it was time!  It was happening!  It was this point that I started crying.
I still can't believe this happened!

Then we got to our seats, which were AMAZING!  We were right on the ledge so there were no big heads in front of me!
The show was incredible. Absolutely incredible. I cried the entire time. I literally cried at the end because I didn't want it to be over!!!!
Then we walked back to the hotel and walked through Times Square!

There is nothing like Times Square at night!  I must say that Day 4 was my favorite!!!!!

NYC Day #3

On Day 3 we spent the morning at the Met!!!

Claire LOVES art, so this was so much fun for her!

We all loved the medival exhibits!

After the Met we enjoyed a delicious lunch on Madison Ave! Then it was back to the hotel for a little rest and then it was off the the Yankees Stadium!!!

And we ran into Holly and Frank at the game!!!

We all had a blast at our first Major League baseball game!  And the weather was gorgeous!

NYC Day #2

On Day #2 we slept in!  We were exhausted from the last two days and needed some serious sleep.  Once we were up we were ready to hit the streets and head to the Statue Of Liberty!
I did not realize what a big production it was to get to the Statue Of Liberty!  We made our way to Battery Park and waited in line FOREVER! I never mind waiting in line with my crew because that is always when we have the best conversations. But this time we all got a little grumpy because we all had to pee sooooo bad the only bathrooms were ON THE BOAT!
But we finally made it on the boat, we all went pee and all was right in the world again!
Claire and I loved saying "I have a thing about ferry boats." over and over as a throw back to Grey's Anatomy!
Finally after what felt like 30 years we made it!!!

All Oliver wanted was a foam crown and I swear it was just so that I could get this picture.

I love this kid. He is so much fun!!!

We were able to go up into the pedestal of the statue which was like a billion stairs and Oliver thought he could run the whole thing.  Here he is after a few flights!!!
Then we finally made it and the view was incredible!

And overall, we all loved the foam crown.
Then on the walk back to our hotel we saw the courthouse where they film Law & Order.
AND THEY WERE FILMING AN EPISODE!!!!!!!!!
Law & Order is one of my absolute favorite shows and I was totally freaking out that I was there while they were filming!
Then it was off to China Town for dinner!!!

Claire and I enjoyed our bubble tea!

And then we took a quick walk through Little Italy and scoped out a place for diner for the next night!

Another successful day in the city!
