Pool Party!

High: We finally got to use Claire's new pool today :)
Low: Claire only used the pool for about 20 minutes :(

On our way to swim class this morning we noticed that it was kinda warm already. Which is unusual because lately the mornings have been freezing!! So we went into swim class with our fingers crossed that it was be even warmer when we left! AND IT WAS!! As for swim class, not much new to report. Mr. Matt was not there so Claire had no one to perform for :( She did great though. Every time we go she swims more and more by herself!

After swim class (and our routine trip to Tim Hortons) we decided to get Claire's new pool ready. Uncle Johnny bought Claire a new baby pool for her birthday and we have been dying to use it! So Mark got out the air pump and got started!!

Here we are about ten minutes in....

About a twenty, twenty five minutes in.....

About thirty five minutes in....

I got all excited at this point because I thought that we were done. Nope! Not even close.

It was at this point that Daddy started researching faster ways to fill up this pool! And he was checking our blog (he hasn't read it in a couple days...CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?!?!)

After about an hour....TADA!!! DONE!! Unfortunately, now it was time for Claire to take
a nap :(

But after her nap, we were ready to rock!!!

We were out of swimmies so we just left Claire in her diaper (which we quickly ditched after it immediately filled up with water and fell off). Claire loved climbing in and out of the pool by herself. After all that work, Claire only swam in the pool for about 20 minutes, but it was totally worth it!!!

Claire's hair is finally long enough for me to put into real pigtails :)

Then after dinner we had a little time before bed to use our new sidewalk chalk. I swear I have just as much fun with it as she does!
