Jellystone!

We had an amazing time at Jellystone this year! It was such a great trip with great friends! I took a ton of pictures again so I am going to break up the posts like I did last year (click HERE , HERE, and HERE to see last year's pictures.  And HERE to see the year before).

We got to Jellystone on Sunday and we spent the afternoon setting everything up.  Nick brought us some Christmas lights so we had some lighting for the night time.

After we got all set up and the kids went to bed the adults had fun playing some games under the Christmas lights :)

The first morning the weather was a little iffy, so we packed up our fishing gear and we did some fishing.  Papa gave us some equipment so we were all set!

Oliver caught a fish right away!  He was so proud of his tiny fish!

Claire caught one too!  She was so excited!

The girls loved fishing together.

After a little fishing the girls spent some time coloring while we waited for Shannon, Charlie, and Ella to join us for the day!

The weather was still pretty cool so we headed over the go karts and laser tag.  Oliver loved riding with Daddy.

Claire wanted to drive all by herself but she had a little trouble in some spots.  

 Once Uncle Nick gave her a bump she was off!

 She finally realized that it would be easier to ride with me and we had a blast.

 Giada and Bella shared a kart and they did great!  Even baby Nicholas got in on the action and rode with Nick.

Shannon had a kart all to herself and she rocked it!

After go karting we played some laser tag!  Uncle Nick took care of the girls and fended off some bullys!  I played too so I didn't get any pictures but it was hysterical!  When we finished up laser tag Bob, Colleen, and Brendan came up to hang out.

After laser tag there was a huge blow up slide and the kids had a blast on it!

Oliver need a little help but he loved it!  

Oliver got a VIP ride back to the cottage with Jessica and Nicholas.

Mark walked with Claire and Giada and for some reason they all had their helmets on :)

When we got back to the cabins, the kids went down for a nap and the adults had fun playing cards.  Here is Oliver with Uncle Nick.  Oliver LOVES Nick!  He cannot get enough of him.  Everywhere we went, we was right by Nick's side.  If Nick wasn't with us for a second Oliver would say, "WE FORGOT UNCLE NICK!!" If Nick's favorite song came on the radio, Oliver would yell out, "Uncle Nick!!  It's your jam!!"

The girls actually let Oliver play with them quite a bit on this trip and he was THRILLED!!

After the kids napped we braved the cold water and took the kids to swim in the lake.  The girls were so good about helping Oliver out.

Brendan played in the sand for the first time! At first, he was NOT a fan.

 But once he got used to it, he was loving it!

After a quick swim (and I stress quick) Claire took a LONG hot shower. She was so funny in there!  She stood in the shower forever and was singing away.  It was super cute.  Shannon brought up a delicious dinner and we all enjoyed it!  After dinner Grandma and Grandpa came up to see the kids.  The girls loved showing Grandma around.

After dinner we all headed to the playground.  The kids loved playing with Grandma!

After the playground there was the most beautiful rainbow!

 The kids loved seeing Grandma and Grandpa!  They were so excited that they came up!

Even though the weather wasn't all that great, we had a great first day!  The kids were all super excited to roast marshmallows around the fire!

I brought some glow wands for the kids to play with.  Oliver and Frankie were pumped about the glow swords!  They were hilarious sword fighting!

 They played forever just chasing each other around. 

They were so cute!

The kids had an absolute blast the first full day.  I am not sure what they liked more, the park itself or just running back and forth between the cabins to play!  Claire was so excited to be with the Bella and Giada.  They are getting so old!  They loved hanging out in the loft and listening to music, it was hilarious.  I swear Claire was like a 13 year old this whole trip!  And Oliver didn't stop talking the entire time we were there!   He loved every single second of this trip.  He was thrilled that the girls included him and he loved playing with his boy Frankie!!  I will post more about day 2 tomorrow!!
