LOW: We had to skip swim lessons :(
Today was Mark's first full triathlon (the QuakerMan cancelled the swim portion due to the weather). He did so well. We were so proud of him!!!
The triathlon started with a .6 mile swim.
Here is Mark waiting to jump into the water!
Here is Mark getting started!
And they're off!!!
Claire and Oliver had a blast cheering Daddy on!
Here we are waiting for Daddy to come out of the water!
Here is Mark on his way out of the water. Don't mind the people taking a leisurely stroll along the runners' path.
This is the transition area for everyone to change out of their wet suits and hop on their bikes.
Mark is changed and ready for the 12 mile bike portion.
While Daddy biked the kids kept themselves busy with the toys they brought. They were so good the whole day. They really enjoy watching Daddy!!
Here is Mark finishing his bike ride and heading back to the transition area to get ready for the 3.1 mile run.
While Daddy ran we headed over to the little playground to play for a little bit. Oliver worked on some pullups.
And so did Claire.
And Grandma.
My babies.
Here is Mark coming to the finish!!
Oliver loved seeing his Daddy run. After he saw Mark he kept saying, "I wanna run too!!!" and he was running all over the place.
Here is Mark at the finish!!!!
That is his time minus about 30 minutes. He did so well! We are so proud of him!!
Claire was so proud of her Daddy! She didn't even care that he was all sweaty. She couldn't wait to hug him!!!
Oliver was exhausted by this point so he just hung out in the stroller. We do a lot of running around during these events so that we can see Mark at every point and Oliver was beat! Thank God Grandma and Grandpa were there to help out! I am not sure we could have seen everything without them!!!
WAY TO GO MARK! WE LOVE YOU AND WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!
After a long nap we headed to Jenna and Andrew's (AKA Silly Boy's) graduation party.
The kids had a blast playing with their older cousins.
Aunt Erin built Oliver an awesome tepee!
Which Oliver (AKA Rocket) made Silly Boy and Grandma hang out in.
When we got home the kids broke in my new Yoga mat with a few Yoga poses.
Claire knew more poses than I did!
It was a busy but great day!! We had a great time watching Daddy and then we had a blast seeing our family at the graduation party!
