Our second day (not counting the day we got there because that was really a half day) started out with the kids eating their breakfast while watching Little Einsteins.
Then we decided to hang out at the pool for awhile. The kids loved the "regular pool" as much as the spray park. The girls threw their vests on swam like little fish and Oliver loved swimming with his Daddy. There was also a smaller 1 foot pool that was perfect for the Frankie and Oliver.
After another fun filled day of swimming it was time to hang out at the cabins for dinner. The kids had a blast playing with Ruby. No matter how hard the four girls worked together, I think that Ruby was winning :)
After dinner we headed to the wooden playground. The kids absolutely loved this playground! I think it's because there aren't too many wooden playgrounds around anymore.
Claire and Giada loved exploring.
Triple Trouble had a blast hanging out!! I think Bella won the award for best tan on this trip!
Bella mastered the monkey bars! She flew across them like a pro.
Oliver gave it a whirl but didn't make it very far.
This was the night the kids met "The Lizard Girl". This girl (we really couldn't decide if she was a kid or an adult) had a pet lizard, yes that's right a PET lizard. The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever. The adults on the other hand, were a little creeped out by "The Lizard Girl" and quietly encouraged our children to find some other kids to hang out with.
After the playground we all took a nice walk around the park.
It was so romantic.
We even got a nice shot of all the kids together! And Boo Boo too :)
On the way back to the cabins the kids had a blast rolling down the hill.
Oliver did his best, but he didn't quite get the concept. But he had to do what all the big kids were doing.
It looked like so much fun that my partner in fun (Jenn) and I had to give it whirl!
It was really fun! After we rolled down the hill we tried to run in a straight line. Obviously, that did NOT work! We had a blast trying though!
Then Mark had to give it try, he couldn't be out done by the ladies.
After our roll down the hill we headed back to the cabins for a campfire and some smores. Claire brought her glow bracelets to share with her friends and the kids loved them. The glow bracelet station was well set up by the girls and the kids loved choosing their colors and making bracelets and necklaces. Notice Frankie in the background, I think he was asking for more marshmallows :)
Claire loved making this fine piece of jewelry.
We all brought sticks that we bought for roasting marshmallows but Nick wanted a super long one so that he didn't have to get up. He did some exploring and found the perfect stick.
Then Claire tried to sit in Uncle Frank's chair. That didn't work out so well. Notice you can still see her glow bracelets though.
The night before we had a riveting Flip Cup tournament after the kids went to bed. Which the boys won but, they used two hands and had an extra player...I am not bitter about our loss at all :) Jenn and I held our own and I think we did pretty well! We decided while playing that we needed better lighting so Nick made us this lantern and it worked perfectly.
It was yet another perfect day at Jellystone. It was at this point that I actually started to get sad that we only had one full day left! Check back for pics of our last full day and our last half day.
