HIGH:  I got Claire's summer clothes switched to her winter clothes :) AND A nice late dinner with Jessica and my Mom :)
LOW: Oliver didn't really want to nap today :(

Dear Oliver,
        Thank you for finally taking a nap so that I could finish switching your sister's clothes.  But, I would greatly appreciate it if you would stop pooping at 4 am and waking yourself up.  While I do appreciate it that you get your diaper changed and then go right back to sleep, it is still annoying.

Wednesday, September 29, 2010 Zoo Day

HIGH: ZOO DAY!!!!

LOW: Claire missed a much needed nap :(

Today Jessica and decided to pack up all the kids and head to the zoo!!!  It was the perfect day for the zoo.  Even though it was cloudy and a little cool, we pretty much had the whole zoo to ourselves and that is just the way we like it.

Jessica and I decided it would be easier to cram all the kids in one car.  Looks cozy doesn't it?

The kids were super excited!  Even Oliver!!

Claire and Giada had fun chatting about what animals they wanted to see.

We even got a little extra attention because we  were the only ones in the Rainforest :)

We enjoyed a picnic lunch.

Even though the girls don't really like bugs, they had fun creating their own bugs.

 

Even the fake animals were a hit.

The double stroller came in really handy.  Oliver got bumped because the ladies got a little tired by the end of our zoo trip (he didn't seem to mind though, being all snuggled with Aunt Jessica).

Overall, it was perfect day at the zoo.  Hopefully we can squeeze in one more trip before the snow starts to fall.

Today was a relaxing day.  I had some big plans.  I was going to switch out all of Claire's summer clothes to winter clothes and get the Halloween decorations out.  Well, I got the Halloween decorations out but that was about it.  I spent a lot of time in my office today.  Oliver played very nicely with his bugs and took a few good naps, this gave me plenty of time to spend in my office.  I balanced my checkbook, edited some photos, caught up on some e-mails, got lost in the world of Facebook, and checked on Claire at school.  Here is my office:

It's a little different than it used to be, but I love it just the same :)

Monday, September 27, 2010 Case Of The Mondays

HIGH:  We just relaxed all day :)
LOW:  Claire took a late nap and we were almost late for dancing :(

Today was a really relaxing day.  We all stayed in our jammies until late and just hung out in the living room and played.  It was really nice.  We have been so busy lately that it was nice to have nothing to do.  The only problem was that we relaxed a little too much because I forgot to get Claire down for an early nap because she had dancing.  We were almost late, but we made it.  Claire really loves dance class!  She is doing much better without me there.  Which is a good thing (I guess).  While were at dancing Mark and Oliver hung out.  They ran to the grocery store (I told you he loves to grocery shop) and then stopped at a soccer game.  Here are my boys after a long day :)

Saturday, September 25, 2010 BEST BIRTHDAY PARTY EVER!!!!!

HIGH:  Best birthday party ever :)
LOW: I was out too late and was exhausted on Sunday :( 

Mark threw me an awesome birthday party!!  All of our friends were there and we had a great time!!

It was so fun to see my friends from work!  We had fun telling the good old inappropriate jokes :)

So needless to say there is not much to post about Sunday!!  I basically laid around at my in laws all day and recovered!!!  A very special thank you to the in laws for not only babysitting but helping the next day!!!!

Lily's Place

HIGH:  The grand opening of Lily's Place :)
LOW:   It was too hot today :(

Mark's Uncle Brian opened a Senior Housing complex and named it Lily's Place after Mark's grandma and today was the grand opening.  The place is gorgeous and Grandma was proud as a peach to cut the ribbon!!

This morning in order to get to the grand opening in time I had to wake up Oliver.  It was not an easy thing to do, look at how cozy he looks!!  Also, yes I know he looks too big (he is 14 lbs now) to be using the sleep positioner but he won't sleep well without it.  He likes to be snuggled and who doesn't deserve a good snuggle :)

HIGH:  Dinner at Nana and Papa's house :)
LOW: Daddy had to work late and we missed him :)

Not much goin on here today.  Claire had school and Oliver and I ran errands all day.  For dinner we went over to Nana and Papa's but that was about it, just a relaxing day.

 After dinner we took a walk up to the ice cream place and had a nice treat.

Nana is the best and gave the kids their baths :)

Wednesday, September 22, 2010 New Phone Day

HIGH:  NEW PHONE DAY :) AND A playdate with the ladies :)
LOW:  I have no idea what I am doing with my new phone :(

Let me just start by saying that New Phone Day is a very important day.  When it is time for me to get a new phone you would think I was buying a house.  I research and research until I can find the correct phone. Two years to be locked into something is scary and I want to be sure about it.  Now...that being said I would like to add that I wanted an iPhone.  Wait, let me rephrase that...I NEEDED an iPhone.  I would dream of an iPhone.  I just had to have one.  But Mark and I are loyal Verizon customers so it would have been ridiculous to switch to AT&T.  So finally Verizon came out with this beauty.  The Droid X!  This phone does pretty much everything that an iPhone does.  Although it is a little bigger and flatter, they are pretty comparable.  So overall, I am thrilled with my new phone.  Droid and I are getting to know each other (very slowly) but I love it.  Thank you Mark for a great birthday present!!!

Besides being new phone day, we had a playdate for the girls.  Look at these three Sassy Mamas.  Seriously, one is sassier than the next.  Just check out their smiles.

Here is what we found out after Mama Bella hollered upstairs "Claire's Mom!!"  Somehow when things go wrong we are no longer Aunt Natalie or Aunt Jessica, instead we are so and so's Mom!!!  Now notice....Claire is crying, Bella has her hand on her hip, and Giada is smiling.  Can you guess what happened here???  I love these girls!  We are in sooo much trouble when they get older!!!

Finally, BEDTIME!!!!  Meaning that I could sit and play with my new phone (even though Mark snatched it and I didn't get too much time to pay with it).  As you can see, things were really calm here at bedtime :)

I had to add this in.  I am still playing around with photography and last night I had to get a shot of the fog (see Colleen...thank god the fog held out for your wedding :).  I looked like a crazy person at 10 o'clock last night but how spooky is that?!?!?!  I just wish it would be like this on Halloween!!!!
