Albany & Lake Placid

So this year, I packed up my classroom...

And then we headed right to Albany and Lake Placid for lacrosse tournaments!

On the way there we stopped at a family favorite!  We have been stopping at this diner for years in our travels and it gets better each time!

We started with Claire's tournament in Albany.

The girls did really well and really held their own!

After two days in Albany we headed to Lake Placid for a tournament for Oliver!

I can't believe how grown up the kid is getting!

Lake Placid was gorgeous and we had a ton of fun!

This was not Oliver's usual team, he was invited to play with another team and they had a lot of fun!

Oliver's buddy Connor is on this team and the boys had a blast!

We had such a nice time with Connor and his family!

Then on our way home we stopped to zip line!

It was absolutely gorgeous!

And then of course we found an amazing diner on the way home!  They had the BEST milkshakes!!

 

Oliver's Birthday

We celebrated Oliver's birthday out at the lake this year!  The weather was a little cool so it wasn't a good beach day but we still loved celebrating in our favorite place.  This year we combine Oliver's, Owen's, and Sue's birthday!

Everyone loves tetherball!

It was a great party and I am so happy that we were able to finally celebrate at the lake!

The day after the party it was brought to my attention that PAULY D was djing at the beach club.  So I obviously stalked the beach until we saw him!!!!

We cheated and walked the beach to go and see him so we weren't in the actual crowd but he knew we were there!

Honestly, he was really good!  He played great music!

So I hate when I do this but I got so behind on blogging that I have to do large posts to catch up!  So here goes May...

Oliver FINALLY got to have a cello concert and we all loved going!

Claire made varsity lacrosse AS A FRESHMAN AND SHE STARTED!!!!

Mothers day was spent watching Oliver play box lacrosse!

It was such an exciting game and Claire had a bunch of fans there to cheer her on!

 We all gathered to cheer the girls on for their final game!  Even though we lost, it was a tight game and we are so proud of our girls!

Claire had a very nice lacrosse banquet!  Here she is with Coach Emily and Coach Cal!

Claire was considered a "scholar athlete" because she has high honors!

The captains gave the girls individual awards and this was Claire's!

Then we started summer travel lacrosse!

Oliver's teacher wrote him the message in his yearbook, we are in trouble with this kid!

Kathleen went to Cabana Sam's for the first time!

And we finally started to decorate the house at the lake!!! And we put up my Grandfather's clock with I love so much! Every time it chimes, it reminds me of my grandparents house!
