Christmas Fun

I am very behind in my posts!  I started this post almost a month ago and finally finished it today!

 It is officially time for some Christmas fun!

Cozy came back as usual to keep an eye on us!

Claire and her buddies dressed up like elves to get free food at Chik-fil-a!

We had a blast at our traditional Festival of Lights night!

Even if we couldn't get out of the car, it was still awesome!

Then of course we wrapped up the evening with our usual Mighty Taco feast!

And Oliver Oliver played a bunch of hockey!

Happy Thanksgiving

 This year we had Thanksgiving at our house!  

Nana made the turkey for us and then her and Oliver made their special turkey cheeseball.

These two did a great job at the Turkey Trot!

I am so Thankful for these turkeys!

I tried to get one nice picture with my brothers...

Everyone was pretty pumped to watch the Bills game!

It was a great Thanksgiving!  Even with all of the craziness of this crazy virus that is STILL around I have so much to be thankful for.  I am thankful that the kids are in school (my own kids and my students), that the kids can still play their sports and be with their friends, and that we are all healthy (knock on wood)!

Happy Halloween

 A little late BUT, we had a great Halloween this year!

To start the Halloween festivities out right, we had our second annual "Halloween Bash" at my in laws.

Claire loved carving her pumpkin!

And so did Oliver!

Kayden made the cutest little pug ever!

And Uncle Brian was an excellent taco!

Part of me misses the days when they needed our help to carve their pumpkins, but a part of me loves to see what they come up with on their own!

Even Great Grandma joined in the fun!

All the kids had a blast!  

And I was loving that the dinosaur costume has made it's way down to yet another adorable dino!

Then it was time for the main event...HALLOWEEN!

The day started nice and early with a trip to the hockey rink!  Of course, I had to get my coffee first!

Then we finished up some extra credit projects.

Then it was time to party with our Halloween buddies the Cappellis!

Everyone did pretty well this year!

I loved being with my holiday buddy!

Grandma and Grandpa stopped by for their usual lap around the neighborhood with us.

Then these two goofballs got started with their shenanigans!

It was another great Halloween full of great memories!!!

Hamburg Hawks

This year we made the move from West Seneca hockey to Hamburg hockey and we honestly could not be happier. Oliver is loving his new team and we are having a blast!

It is a great group of kids and the parents are all really great.  Oliver is having a blast and learning so much!  I am so proud of Oliver and how hard he has worked!

GO HAWKS!!!

Homecoming 2021

 Welp it happened. Claire went to her first homecoming dance.  Although it looked a little different that it usually does, I am so thrilled that they even had a dance!!!

This year Claire and Kathleen worked a booth at the carnival for finance academy!

Oliver loved seeing Camden and Liam winning some prizes!

Then it was time to head home and spend over an hour straightening Claire's hair!

Nana and Papa stopped over for a quick picture.

Then it was time to meet up with her friends!

Such great girls!

They had fun at the dance but they said they had more fun at the Oliver Garden afterwards and then sleeping at Kathleen's afterwards.  This is just the beginning ladies, just the beginning!
