Christmas Season

I know I am a little late with the Christmas posts but we had such an amazing break that I didn't even get time to post anything!  I know I already posted about the big stuff like The Festival Of Lights and The Train Ride.  But we had a bunch of other fun stuff going on around here!
Claire had her winter concert for violin and chorus.
She looks so grown up these days!
Did our annual cookie decorating with Cappellis!
 We celebrated Popp family Christmas!
 Me and my Mama!
Seriously, she is the best ever!
Family Jammie shot!  Even Mark wore his jammies this year!
We did our comfy clothes and christmas lights tour!
 Me and my best guy!
They are getting so big, I remember strapping them into car seats for this!
This year they kicked it up a notch and danced out the sun roof when we got to the house that plays music with their lights!
Oliver had his first winter concert for chorus!
 He nailed it!
 They just keep growing up!
 Cozy came!!!!
She brought some really amazing stuff this year!

The kids loved decorating their own trees in their rooms.
 So cute!
Cozy hid in some interesting places this year!
And really brought us some fun stuff to do together!
Oliver still loves Cozy more than ever.  He wrote her many notes and was very sad to see her go this year!
This has nothing to do with Christmas but this is my morning view out my bathroom window.  I just love it!
Claire had her first cookie exchange and we had so much fun making cookies!

So these are just some of the awesome things we did during the "Christmas Season".

My baby girls.  This is their 8th train ride together!  I can still see them in their little boots and big Christmas bows!
 The Grinch!

It was another successful year on the train ride!  I can't believe that we have been doing this for 9 years!  I love having everyone together enjoying the holidays!

Festival Of Lights

Friday night we went on our annual visit to the Festival Of Lights. Oliver said that this is his favorite holiday tradition and I love to hear that!  This is one of my favorites because we usually go just the four of us and it is very laid back.  We do a lot of talking while we walk around and check out all of the stuff and I love the time together during this crazy time of year!

Me and my guy waiting in the line to see Santa!
Our annual "waiting in ling to see Santa" selfie.  This always take like 45 minutes to an  hour but I have to say that it is one of my favorite parts.  This is where we chat away.  We talk about school, work, friends, past holidays, etc.  We always get a little silly and we always have fun while we wait.
My 7th grade love.  She is such a great girl and she still wants to spend some time with us and I will take what I can get!
Goofballs
SANTA!
My favorite people (Santa included).

I love that they still have fun with me!
Sometimes even I get in the picture!
Of course Oliver made a hockey snowman!
The Christmas Tree Village!  They changed things up a bit but it was still really pretty!
Somehow stopping at Mighty Taco on the way home has become a family tradition!  We are usually a Moe's family but for some reason we go here every year after the festival.  We always sit at the same table and have some of the best conversations ever. This year we discussed OJ Simpson and the trial lol.

I absolutely love this time of year but it can get really busy and really crazy!  I love the Festival Of Lights because as much as I love the hustle and bustle and all of the visiting with family and friends, it is really nice to just grab my favorites and spend the evening together!
