Hockey Tournament

A few weekends ago Oliver had a hockey tournament in Rochester!

The boys have so much fun playing mini-sticks in the hotel.  We were lucky enough this year to get a whole room to ourselves.

Us Moms ordered our special cups!

Oliver played so hard that he won the "hard worker" award for one of the games!

 Us hockey mamas always have a good time too!

 They boys loved stopping out for a quick lunch.

And the kids have an absolute blast!!!!

We always have so much fun on these tournaments! The boys played some great hockey and learned a lot.  And there were many memories made!

Catch Up

So we have been crazy busy around here!!! Since I have blogged much, I figured I would do one big post to catch us up!

Claire is loving 7th grade!!! She had a blast celebrating homecoming week! Here she is on Hawaiian day!

Oliver was hellbent on wearing a suit for picture. Like he begged and pleaded. So after much thought we figured, hey if the boy wants to wear a suit let home wear a suit!

Us grown ups had fun at the homecoming carnival!

But not as much fun as these ladies!

These girls are definitely big shots!!

Then these ladies continued the party at Frightworld!

One of my oldest friends invited us to celebrate her daughters’ 21st birthday with her and we had a blast!

Oliver has been on a big kick where he wants to “read until he falls asleep” each night. How can I say no?!

Like I said, he wants to read every night!

Oliver started the cello last week and LOVES it!

Claire played some more field hockey and scored another goal!

I am finally starting to learn the rules!

Our transition into the school year has been a good one! We are all settling in nicely and getting a nice routine. Hopefully I will keep up on my blogging 

Oh and Claire made me a Memoji!!! Lol!

Birthday Dinner & Some Hockey

Last weekend we finally made it out to my family birthday dinner. My favorite part of my birthday is going to dinner with my family. It is a tradition that I hope we keep forever!

Field Hockey

Today was Claire’s first field hockey game! 

She loved wearing her uniform to school!

And she scored a goal!!!!

OP won 3-0!!!!

I am so proud of my girl for trying something new! She is having so much fun with the team and the games are super funny to watch!!!!

Birthday Weekend

Last weekend I was lucky enough to celebrate my birthday TWICE!

Saturday I had a super fun shoot at a barn and then we headed over to Nana and Papa’s to celebrate my special day!

Dinner and dessert were delicious!

And I got to hang out with some of my favorites!

The on Sunday I got to celebrate with my in laws! 

And again the food and desserts were delicious!!!

And the kids had a blast in the hot tub!

I am so lucky that I got to spend the whole weekend celebrating my special day! Thanks everyone!!!!

BSC Campout

Last night we camped out overnight at our ski club.

The kids were super excited to sleep in a tent!

Our home away from home for the night!

Once we were all set up it was finally time to relax!

The kids played some games while we waited for our friends to arrive.

Once everyone got there and was all set up, we headed down to hear the band play.

And the kids just loved sampling all of the suckers!!!

The kids had a blast!

And so did the adults!

Claire and Oliver met up with some friends and had fun hanging out with them!

First Day Goals

So today marked another start to another school year! So it was time to set our goals for the year!

Claire:

~ to read 2 books a month

~to keep her average above a 95%

~to play 3 sports this year 

~to make at least 3 new friends

~to compliment her teammates after every game

Oliver:

~to make good choices

~to have self control

~to do better in geometry 🤷🏼‍♀️ 

~to score 40 goals in hockey

~to compliment his teammates after every game

Me:

~to stay healthy and fit

~to not stress about little stuff

~to stay positive 

~to be a patient and supportive wife and mother

~to read 2 books a month

~to be the best teacher that I can be

~to make someone laugh everyday

~to laugh everyday

~to complete the Ironman in under 13 hours

~to build solid relationships with my students

Bring on the 2019-2020 school year! The Komos are ready for the best year yet!!!
