Nothin' Much

I can't believe that we are already towards the end of July.  The weather hasn't been amazing but I am just loving the slow pace of lazy summer days.

Celebrating our 18th anniversary...

Seeing Mark win first place in his age division in  his triatholon...

The kids have played an absurd amount of lacrosse...

 I LOVE SUMMER!!!!!

Claire's Birthday

This year we celebrated Claire's 14th birthday up at the beach (obviously).  We were really hoping to have it our place but it is still isn't finished.  So Grandma and Grandpa stepped up and let us use their place, AGAIN.  The weather wasn't the greatest but we still had a blast.

It is totally ridiculous to me that my baby is 14.  She is such an amazing human being, I don't even know how I got to be so lucky to have her.  Claire is smart, athletic, funny, kind, and just an all around amazing person.  

Even though it wasn't a great beach day, the boys still had fun fishing.

And the adults had an intense game of Jenga!

And my Mom and I were twinning!

Even though these two drive each other crazy, they still love each other.

Even though it was too windy for the big fireworks display the boys loved night swimming.

And we all enjoyed a small fireworks display.

Overall, it was another amazing celebration with family!  

SUMMER

 So summer has officially started!  It has already been so amazing and we haven't even done anything!

We had our annual end of the year party last Friday!  It is the "Greatest Day" and it is really the GREATEST DAY!

I love these people and we definitely celebrated!!!

The cottage is coming along and I am so thrilled with it!

I cannot wait for it to be finished!

Oliver is just loving fishing non stop!

Oliver had a whole list set up for a special fishing day with Mark.  

Although they didn't catch anything in the end my positive guy was thrilled with his catch from earlier in the day!

When he is not fishing outside, he is fishing inside!

And I just love to sit here.  Even if it rained on us and I had to run back for my umbrella.

I am loving just relaxing and reading and going to the gym and just taking the day nice and slow! After the madness of June, I love the slow start of summer.  I can't wait for the rest of it!
