Lacrosse Tournament

HIGH: Claire had a lacrosse tournament in Syracuse!

LOW: We made it to the championship but lost 😔

The girls did great in their tournament today! We won 2 and lost 2. We made it to the championship but lost the final game 😔

Claire plays with such a great group of girls! They really have a blast and I really enjoy all of the parents! Oliver also had a blast with all the siblings! 

Stone Massages and Popsicles

HIGH: I got an amazing stone massage today AND we had a nice visit with Baby Sammie!

LOW: Mark worked on the landscaping all and didn’t get to visit Baby Sammie with us.

This morning I had my first ever massage, and a stone massage at that! It was not sure what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised! I absolutely loved it. If you have never had one, I highly recommend it!

After my massage we all helped Mark clean up the landscaping!

Then we had nice visit with Baby Sammie and the kids loved swimming and chilling in the hot tub!

Sammie and Oliver loves playing together! We got to be there when she had her first popsicle, she loved it!!!

Have I mentioned how much I love summer!!!

Salt Cave

HIGH: We celebrated Amy’s birthday at the Salt Cave!

LOW: Claire had a party tonight and she didn’t get grab dinner with us 😔

Today we celebrated Amy’s 40th birthday by taking her to the Salt Cave! So after I dropped Claire off at her lacrosse clinic we all met at the Cave! It was really cool and very relaxing! Although, we were all a little puffy afterwards!

Then we continued the celebration with a delicious lunch at Juicey Burger! It was so great to sit outside on this gorgeous day and have lunch and a few drinks and laugh! 

After a great lunch date I headed home, did some laundry, read my book, and just relaxed for a bit! It was amazing! Then Claire has a birthday party so Oliver, Mark, and I grabbed dinner at our favorite place...Moes!!! Then Mark and I hustled over to a hockey meeting and then we picked up Claire and finally headed home for the evening. It was another busy but relaxing summer day! 

First Official Day

HIGH: It was the first official day of summer!!!

LOW: I didn’t get to go to the beach with Oliver 😔

Yesterday marked the first official day of summer vacation! I have been looking back at old blog posts and I am really going to try to blog every day again! I love rereading all of my old posts and seeing all of my old pictures, so I am really going to try!

Yesterday Claire had lacrosse camp and Oliver went to the beach with my in laws. I had a dr appt and the timing didn’t match up so I couldn’t go along. I did however get to sit in my favorite new reading chair and drink my coffee and read! It was GLORIOUS!!!

Oliver has an absolute blast at the beach with his cousins!!!

He loves his cousins so much!

I still can’t believe that Oliver isn’t the little guy on the beach anymore! He is now the “older” cousin!!!

We also got this in the email today!!! Claire was selected for accelerated Math!!! Yet again, I am so proud of my girl! 

So I would say overall the first day of summer was a HUGE success! 

Greatest Day

We finally made it to our end of the year party (otherwise known as the greatest day)! We were missing a few buddies this year, but we definitely enjoyed the celebration!

The weather was amazing and I am so excited to have a fun and relaxing summer!!!

We even managed to sneak in some jammers!!!

End Of The Year

Welp the school year has officially ended (for the kids anyway)! 

We wrapped up the school by going to Claire’s 6th grade awards assembly. We received a letter in the mail last week saying that Claire won an award and that we were invited (as a secret) to the ceremony!  We were super excited and curious!

Claire was very surprised to see us!

Of course we embarrassed the heck out of her! But I think she secretly loves it!

Only 40 or so kids got high honors in her grade so I am beyond proud!!!! Claire worked so hard all year and I definitely cried when she got her award!

She is such an amazing girl. Every day Claire makes me proud, seriously every single day she does something that makes my heart burst with pride and today it was so awesome to see others recognize how amazing this girl is. I am so lucky that I get to be her Mama!!!

She also won the One Million Word Reading Challenge! 


My soon to be SEVENTH grader!!!!

Oliver had an amazing year too. We absolutely loved his teacher Mr. Dovey. We are sad to say goodbye but hopefully next year he will have a great teacher too! Oliver did so well academically and he worked so hard on keeping his chatting to a minimum! I am so proud of him! His makes me so proud every day too! His kindness never ceases to amaze me. Oliver always asks me how my day was or how I am feeling. He is such a love!

Claire’s favorite teacher was Mrs Cullen. She really fostered Claire’s love of reading and we are sad to move on but next year should be just as exciting!

So ridiculously proud of my kids. Oliver won an award for his Perfect Attendance and Claire got her High Honors award! I am so lucky that I get to be their Mom!!!  Now let the summer fun begin!

Beautiful Weekend

The weather was finally gorgeous and we had a busy but awesome weekend!

Saturday the kids had a blast playing basketball outside all day!

Claire got a little aggressive at times but it was fun!

Then we had a great night at the West Seneca Community days with our hockey peeps!!!

And today we celebrated Erika and Joe at a beautiful shower!

Claire also had a lacrosse tournament today in Honeyoke Falls. The girls did great! They won 3 games and only lost 1. I hate that I missed it because I love to watch these girls play!

It was a great weekend! I am sooo ready for summer!!!

Oliver’s Birthday Party

Today we celebrated Oliver’s 9th birthday (a bit early)! 

Everyone had a nice time enjoying the nice weather (before the rain).

It was a great party! We all loved celebrating Oliver’s birthday! But I think Oliver’s favorite part of the party was hanging out with his cousins!!!!
