Ever since the kids were babies we have all sat together and read every night before going to sleep. I love it that now the kids read to us!!

Dr. Dolittle

This year Claire was part of another excellent Windom production, Dr. Dolittle!

 I love the amazing productions that her school puts on every year!  

Claire did an excellent job as a dancer and Kathleen was a great warrior!

Oliver didn't get picked to be a dancer this year but he still loved watching his friends in the show!

Mr. Clark is one of Claire's favorite teachers.  He always plays a special part in the production.

Claire absolutely loved being a part of the whole production!  She had so much fun and made some new friends.  She said to me the other day, "Mom, it is not just the main actors that make the show.  They wouldn't be able to do it without all of the people who help!"  And that to me is what this is all about.  

So proud of you Claire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy New Year 2017

Before we could celebrate the New Year we had to have our "Couples Christmas Dinner"!  This year we went to Oliver's and the food was amazing and the company was even better!  We had a great dinner and a fabulous night of dancing to follow!

 Now, on to our New Year's celebration!  The boys did an excellent job making yet another amazing surf and turf dinner (for the FIFTH year in a row)!

 This crew had a great time reviewing Twitter for reviews on Mariah Carey's amazing performance.

 Some of my favorite ladies.  I love these ladies and I don't know what I would do without any of them!

 KIDS TABLE!!!!  The adults may have had a great time but the kids had an absolute blast!

 I love that at one point, the kids were upstairs in the hallway READING!!!

 I am so blessed to have all of these people in my life!  I love that I got to spend another New Year's eve with people that I love like family!!!  I hope 2017 brings us all some amazing new adventures!!!!

The Holidays!

 We have had some issues with our laptop so I am a little behind on my blog posts for the holidays.  I decided to just put it all in one post!  

 One of my favorite holiday traditions is the festival of lights.

 Even though it started to rain everyone was a trooper and smiled through it for me.

 SANTA!  Oliver hopped up on his lap and wanted to ask him 3 questions.  1.  Am I on the nice list?, 2. Can my Mom have diamond earrings?, & 3. Can I have a Cozmo robot?

 The show was awesome and we had a great time!!!

 We had another wonderful Christmas Eve dinner here at our house.

 The kids loved playing with our cousins and their new toys!

 So fun having everyone together!

 Before dinner, we had a nice lunch with the Cappellis and we had some special visitors!

 And so was Nicholas after he finally worked up the courage to sit on the big guy's lap!

Oliver had no problem hopping on the big guy's lap!

 Then before you know it, it was CHRISTMAS MORNING!!!!!  The kids waited so patiently while Daddy and I made our coffee and got the fire going!

Then it was time for PRESENTS!!!!!

 Oliver was super pumped about his Hatchimal!!!

 It was a big surprise from Santa!

 He was also pretty pumped with this Cozmo robot!

 Claire was thrilled with her Chrome book from Santa!

 And all of the accessories that go with it!

We all had a blast playing with Cozmo!

And getting the Hatchimal to hatch!

After playing with all of our toys (and cleaning up all morning) we headed to Auntie Rose's for a delicious dinner and some fun with GG!

Christmas 2016 was another amazing holiday filled with family, friends (who are like family), lots of laughs, and much love!!!  Although, I am sad it is over I can't wait to see what is next on this crazy adventure!
