Last Saturday was Claire's dance recital.  She did so well!!  She LOVES being on stage!!

Then she was ridiculously excited to see Giada who is doing Mommy and me this year!

 Then Claire ran into her other buddies, The Beehlers.

 Miss Gabbie and Aunt Jacqie did an excellent job teaching the girls their dance!  The show was amazing and these girls worked their butts off!

Bella did a great job too.  I can't believe how big our girls are getting.

After the show Claire was thrilled to see everyone and she especially loved hearing how great she did :)

 I am  not sure what they are talking about here but Claire and Papa have some serious conversations.

Oliver as SOOO good the whole show.  He just hung out and was passed around while he watched all the lights and listened to the music.  He is such a good boy!  He did not make ONE peep!

Claire and Aunt Jacqie.  Claire was very upset that dancing was over because she was worried that she wouldn't see Aunt Jacqie anymore.  I assured her that Aunt Jacqie is going to be around for a long time :)

Overall, the show was amazing and I am so proud of Claire!  She did great for her dance and she did awesome with Mark for Daddy and Me.  Every time Claire walked on stage I cried.  I cried for so many reasons.  I cried because she is so big and grown up now.  I cried because I was so proud of all of her hard work.  I cried because I love her sooooo much! I cried because she is becoming so independent and I miss her needing me all the time.  I cried because I love that she is becoming her own person.  But mostly, I cried because I am a Mom and that is what is we do.

Goin' Too Fast!

Well, what can I say besides time is just goin' too fast!  There are not enough hours in the day to get everything done and then blog.  Luckily, summer is coming right around the corner and I will have more time (hopefully). 

Since I have so many pictures and so many things to blog about I am just going to use some pics and tell what's going on!  Here is Claire and Oliver playing with his car.  I cannot believe how all of sudden he is pulling himself up on everything and climbing around.  He is all boy!  Oliver loves to push and pull his trucks and he loves anything that makes noise!  

Here is my free find!  This kitchen set was free and it is like BRAND NEW!  Claire loves to cook up some meals and Oliver loves to climb up on it.  Usually Claire loves to play with Oliver and share all of her toys.  But, as you can see, she is not into sharing her new kitchen.

Last week was Claire's Doodledance performance.  She did great! 

Of course the grandparents came out to cheer her on!

Papa did his usual whistle when the show was over.  When I was little at every dance recital my father would always whistle super loud at the end of my dances.  I could always hear it over the rest of the crowd and it made me feel so special!  Now he does it for Claire and she loves it too!

Last week Claire had a long overdue playdate with her buddy Shay! The girls had a blast dressing up and playing.

And playing in Aunt Pam's (super organized and neat) closet.

The week was capped off with a nice dinner at Grandma and Grandpa's.

Claire and Owen had a blast running around like maniacs.  They are getting to be so funny!  They crack each other and just have a blast!

The lighting was perfect for me to play around with my camera.

I had fun taking tons of pictures!  Also, I was introduce to Words With Friends and now I am obsessed.  Thanks Erin :)

Sooo Big - Komo Style

Not too much went on here this weekend.  Oliver learned "So Big" this weekend.  Well, his own version of "So Big" which we call "So Crazy".  Check it out!

 

Claire and Oliver spent the night at Grandma and Grandpa's on Friday so that Mark and I could go to an engagement party.  We ended up spending the entire day there on Saturday just hanging out and relaxing.  Claire looked at me and Mark during dinner and asked us "Are we living here now?"  She is the best.

And Oliver just made a big mess.  He loves eating puffs now!  He will sit there and eat them like crazy.  As you can see he gets them EVERYWHERE!!

Claire and I went shoe shopping.  It was the first time that her and I really shopped together.  It was so great!  Claire loved trying on all different shoes and picking out her favorites.  She finally settled on the sneakers that made her run faster :).  Then she was beat so she relaxed with her silky and watched some old school Bambi. 

It was a great weekend spent relaxing and just hanging out as a family.  Those are my favorite kinds of weekends.

Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day!  Today was a perfect Mother's Day!  Mark got up with the kids this morning and I got to sleep in.  Then Mark, Claire, and Oliver made me breakfast in bed.  It was perfect.  Claire asked me first thing this morning "Happy Mother's Day Mom!  Do you want a Mother's Day hug?"  She is just the best! And we actually got a nice family picture (thanks Aunt Erin)!!

After a nice relaxing day at home we headed over to Nana's for dinner.  Oliver loved being snuggled up by Nana.

After a delicious dinner at Nana and Papa's we headed over to Aunt Irene's for some great dessert.  Oliver loved being snuggled up by Aunt Erin (everyone loves to snuggle him up).

Claire geared up to play with the boys outside.  That's my girl, all fancied up playing with the boys.

Yet again, Oliver being loved up.

Oliver fell in love today.  He could not take his eyes of off Sydney.

He literally stared at her like this for about 25 minutes.

Then Oliver and Owen hung out for a bit (notice Oliver is still being snuggled up by Aunt Erin :)

Then Great Grandma and Great Grandpa took a turn snuggling Oliver up.

Claire is in love with Truett (who happens to be Sydney's brother)!  He was so sweet and patient with her following him around.

It was an amazing Mother's Day!  I can't believe I have TWO perfect babies!  I am sooo lucky!!!

I ordered my second blog book last week and it came yesterday!  Blog2Print will take your blog and make it into a book.  They do a beautiful job and it is sooo easy and affordable.  I just LOVE them!!

Special Present

Today was a GREAT day!!  For Mother's Day I got my new camera!!  After much research and a LOT of help from the people at the camera store I finally made my decision on which camera I wanted.  So here it is. My new baby Nikki (number 2).  This camera is amazing!  

I couldn't wait to play with Nikki so I busted her out in the car on the way home. 

Seeing as I have to learn how to use Nikki I only snapped a few pictures.  I can't believe what great pictures this camera takes (plus my subject is adorable)!!

 Even this little guy came out great!!

I can't wait until tomorrow so I can take tons of pictures of EVERYTHING!!!
